Steve Moore completed the Grid on June 4, 2011 on Mount Moosilauke. He climbed his first 4K peak in 1957 at the tender age of 7 and of course it was Washington. Based on that experience it was a wonder that he continued to hike as it was a very long hot day with an inadequate supply of water. He continued hiking and finished his 3 season 4Ks in 1994 and winter 4Ks 2005 and then decided to tackle "The Grid".
